From the bench, with Neville “Cheeky” Seccafien
Two Wells Football Club pre-season training has been in full swing, ready for round one on April 17.
Neville Seccafien (pictured with Noah Barnett right) is again coaching the A grade squad once again. Assistant A grade coach is club player Caleb Edmead, who was a shining light in a shortened 2020 season, being runner up in the association medal count and taking out the TWFC Best & Fairest award.
While recovering from a knee reconstruction, A grade player Noah Barnett has stepped up to coach the B grade.
The club has lost the services of two-time premiership player Harry Gameau this season, however we hope to see Harry back in the red and white colours some time in the future.
We are hopeful of securing the services of Tyson Richards, from Central Districts, as a forward, and also look forward to the return of Joshua Pellizzari from a knee injury and Anthony Pontt, who had a hiatus in the 2020 season.
As we always have, we look to further develop our junior ranks throughout the season.
Players to watch this season – Luke Barnett and Caleb Edmead; and the team – Mallala.
We’re looking forward to a positive and successful season.
Two Wells makes the trip to Port Wakefield to take on Hummocks Watchman Eagles on April 17, and then hosts Balaklava, back in the league after a year off, on April 24.
