Golfers at Two Wells Golf Club this year will be delighted with some much-needed improvements to the aging clubhouse, following a Federal Government Drought Community Program grant of $30,000.
Over the past few months the club’s kitchen area has been totally revamped, with realignment and positioning of workspaces and new appliances put in, floor coverings replaced throughout the building, air-conditioning upgraded, septic works and repairs to the deck area.
“The club would not have been able to get these things done without the grant,” TWGC secretary Kath Stubing said.
“These new replacements have given the club much better amenities for its members and visitors to enjoy and we are looking forward to the start of the golf season on April 10.”
For the first time in the club’s history a nine-hole competition will be offered on Saturdays alongside the traditional 18-hole competition.
Further details about the season ahead are available on the Two Wells Golf Club website or phone Kath on 0427 803 349.
