Wasleys – well worth the visit!

THE town of Wasleys is steeped in history, but with numerous new homes being built, it mixes tradition with development.

Back in the 1870s, land in the township was advertised to attract people seeking good agricultural land, and eventually the town became a thriving centre operating three chaff mills, along with a school, post office and railway station and more.

Still being prime agricultural land means farmers need access to a transport provider.

Selleck Transport has been in the business for almost 50 years, providing transport for stock, grain, fertiliser, hay and more, plus they can carry over-sized loads such as machinery.

With community support, the post office and bowling club are operating again after the Pinery fire decimated them in 2015. The post office not only caters for your postage and bill paying needs, but offers an amazing  range of gifts for that special occasion along with unique homewares.

Being conveniently located close to Adelaide, Gawler, Barossa and the Mid North, Wasleys is fast becoming the place to live with short commuting times.

Effective Tank Services (for domestic, business and rural rainwater tanks) is right under your nose.

If you are in the market for new or upgraded tanks, in a range of materials and colours, contact the team (ad below).

So if you’re looking to make a move to a rural area ideally located for commuters, have more space for your family, and wish to join a tight knit and welcoming community, take a close look at Wasleys – you’ll be amazed at what you find!
