CWA goes crafty

Caroline Hardiman reports:

The Two Wells SACWA had a lovely handicraft demonstration at its March meeting.

At the Tuesday night meeting on March 16, Sue M gave a great demonstration on how to make a rope coaster.

Everyone gave it a try.

Although the initial starting of the coaster was fiddly, once past that stage the stitching and coiling became easier, the resulting coasters and coasters still in progress look great.

This year our branch donated money to the SACWA Dequetteville Tce.

This was to aid in the maintenance of the beautiful gardens and grounds.

If you are looking for reasonable priced accommodation in Adelaide, the newly named Dequetteville House is open to the public.

Both the Saturday craft afternoons and bingo nights run by the Two Wells branch are still on hold until further notice.

Our meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month at the Two Wells Bowling Club.

They are a casual format where women can meet, share, and learn new skills.

Our next meeting in April will be a general meeting.
