School STEM works continue

Works on Two Wells Primary School’s $1 million STEM project is progressing, with the building on track for its opening in May.

TWPS principal Linda Fitzpatrick-Brown said the renovations were well underway and the old hall building was being given a new lease of life.

A new roof has been put on and during the summer school holidays SA Power upgraded the transformer needed to supply the building to enable it to cope with the increased demand of the many new technologies it will be fitted with.

“We are very excited by this project,” Mrs Fitzpatrick-Brown said.

“At the moment it is business as usual but when the kids get to see and appreciate this space down the track, that’s when we’ll have a lot of those ‘wow’ moments.
“We are looking forward to this facility strengthening and supporting our already terrific STEM program at the
school.”
