Its all been go, go, go, at Two Wells Equestrian and Pony Club.
The second part of the Lower North Zone Clinics have been completed for both showjumping (with Tad McLean), and dressage (with Heather Lundquist).
Despite some extreme weather conditions there was a great turn out for both clinics.
In eventing, seven Two Wells riders travelled to Waikerie for their ODE in August, and all seven returned home with ribbons and placings, our riders also put in a good showing at the Gawler River ODE on the September 28.
At the Two Wells grounds on September 20 an encourage dressage show was held to support less experienced horses and riders.
At the end of the day there was dressage to music. Two Wells had two drill teams put on a display.
The led drill team consisted of seven riders and the senior drill team had 12 riders.
It was great to see many riders getting into the spirit for their individual musical rides with some horses and riders in full costume.
There are busy times ahead at Two Wells Equestrian and Pony Club! Preparations are already underway for the 2015 One Day Event to be held on the Anzac day weekend, which will be the PC eventing State Championships.
Congratulations to our riders who competed at the PC AFA state championships at Lobethal on October 4 & 5.
The Two Wells teams on the flat placed fourth in the competition but were the highest scoring team in the turnout phase.
Composite teams to represent the Lower North Zone were made of riders selected from their performance at the Zone final.
TWE&PC had two riders in the composite games team, the team placed second, and the composite showjumping team, which also finished second, with our Two Wells rider having two clear rounds.
In November the encourage championships will be held, which is a competition for riders in the Lower North zone who are not eligible for the bigger zones.
This event will be taking place at the Two Wells grounds on November 3.
