Lower Light Hotel’s Chef Neill Sharer is back from his overseas travels and has lots of new flavours in the menu just in time for the warmer months.
Wednesday night will see the return of Pasta and Schnitzel Night from $11.50, with a choice of toppings such as parmigiana, Hawaiian, Mexican, Ozzie or The Lot, plus regular sauces and the popular prawn sauce.
There are some fresh new meals with fabulous new flavours, coming out of Neill’s kitchen which will satisfy your tastebuds. You will be tempted by grilled snapper with tropical salsa, harissa chicken fillet with slightly spiced sauce and stir fried ribbon vegetables, grilled rib eye steak with fresh tomato chutney and deep fried crispy onion rings, just to name a few.
In the bar, quench your thirst with a cold pint of Carlton Draught for just $4, or a refreshing James Squire Orchard crush at $6 a pint, or pick from the large range of local bottled wines. For your next social event, make a booking at the hotel, which caters for groups and private functions in the dining room or enclosed beer garden. The Lower Light Hotel is open seven days a week for lunch from 12-2pm, and dinner from 6-8pm, and later on Friday and Saturday nights.
