The Palms Residential Park at Virginia is holding Friday night bingo and everyone is invited.
Organiser Dot says it is an entertaining and inexpensive night out and is run by residents of the village, located on Waterloo Corner road.
“We hold it in a 110-person hall located inside the village but everyone is welcome.”
Dot says it is always a fun night with a guarantee of a laugh along the way.
“We would like to get a lot more out, it is a fun night.”
“We make it fun and there’s a lot of laughs.”
The hall has recently received an update with new equipment for easy use.
“We’ve just got new equipment such as a television so everyone can see the screen.”
Dot hopes that more people can attend now that the cooler months are behind us.
“It (attendance) drops off a bit in winter, but now that it is warmer we would like to see more out.”
Meals on offer, including very reasonably priced Fish and chips for $5, hamburgers for $6 and spring rolls for $3, are on the menu before the bingo begins.
There is no entry fee for bingo and books are $4. The current jackpot is sitting at $145.
If you would like to join in on the fun, bingo nights are held every first and third Friday of the month with food from 5-6pm and bingo beginning at 7-7.30pm.
