Two local educators have been recognised in this year’s South Australian Excellence in Public Education Awards. Two Wells Community Children’s Centre director, Sarah Donovan-Wormald and kindergarten teacher, Hayley Braidwood, were both nominated for the awards, albeit in different categories. Sarah has 14 years experience in the early years education field, 12 as a director and the past six at TWCCC. She has been named a finalist in the Pre-school Leader of the Year category. Hayley has been teaching for four-and-a-half years, starting at TWCCC in 2012 and was nominated in the Early Years Teacher of the Year category. It is the first time staff at the centre have been represented at the awards. Congratulations girls!
