Crime and offences keep police busy

Last month local police reported about 42 different offences in the area, including speeding, unlicensed and drink driving, assault and cannabis.

The Pony Club had a car broken into and a fridge stolen.

A man doing burnouts was stopped by an officer, then arrested for assault.

A large shed was broken into with equipment stolen in Two Wells and a A motorcycle was stolen from a paddock.

Local police have been busy with these crimes/offences and have not been available as much inside the police station.

• Next Neighbourhood Watch meeting is a joint meeting with Mallala and Thompsons Beach, at Two Wells RSL, Old Port Wakefield Road, Two Wells.

Guest Speaker will be Jeff Brown, from Adelaide Plains Driver Training.

• NEXT Blue Light Disco will be held Friday, June 13, from 7-9.30pm at the Two Wells Community Centre, Old Port Wakefield Road, Two Wells.

Entry is $5 for kids aged between 8-17 years. Snacks, drinks and glow accessories are available to buy from the canteen.
