ASIDE from putting the grain in the bin come harvest time, there are few better feelings for a farmer than getting the last of your crop in the ground.
Growers around the district are in the throes of finishing seeding for the 2014/15 season in what has been widely described as the perfect start to the season.
Barunga Gap farmer, Peter Ebsary, who raised his hat to a promising season, cropped about 2200 acres with son and fifth generation farmer, Jarrod. They wound up on Wednesday last week.
