Two Wells Red Cross raised around $1000 following a successful fashion parade on November 19.
Held at the local Catholic Church hall, 40 people attended including Long Plains Red Cross members, residents from Virginia as well as many locals.
The event was in support of this year’s Two Wells Red Cross baby entrant, nine-month-old Chloe Taylor and featured clothing apparel from Trade Winds of Gawler.
TWRC president, Val Vercoe praised the models, Maria Pellizzari, Helen Sims, Rosemary Howell and Julie Harford for their wonderful efforts, saying a great time was had by all.
“I thought it went off very well and everybody enjoyed themselves, it was excellent,” Val said.
Trade Winds proprietor, Bill Harris, compered the fashion parade and generously donated 30 per cent of all sales from the event to the Red Cross.
