Two Wells CFS – August 2013 with Sara Oljey

WE have had a quiet few weeks, with only a few call-outs to car fires and road crash rescues. With a lot of rain lately it is important to remember to drive to the conditions and take extra care.

• As many of us have probably noticed, there have been quite a few rubbish and bonfires of late. It is still OK to burn at the moment provided care is taken and the fires are not left unattended.

If you notice such fires, check them out a bit before you report them as we have had quite a few calls to attend these.

• The CFS will have a bacon and egg breakfast and a sausage sizzle lunch at Two Wells primary school on election day. When you come along to vote, stop, chat – and enjoy a feed.

We are always on the lookout for anyone interested in finding out more about us or who might join as a volunteer.

• As always, we train Monday nights at 7.30pm at the CFS Station in Wells Rd. Cadets meet every other week at 6pm.
