If you are looking for a relaxing night out and a great dining experience, the Wheatsheaf Hotel at Virginia is the place to go.

The hotel is family friendly and has a range of menu choices to suit every budget.

Wheatsheaf Hotel has been owned by the Campbell family since 1929, and is now run by brothers, Steve and Greg.

Steve and Greg try to source their foods locally, and pride themselves on providing a high standard of delicious meals.

“We have a famous a-la-carte menu, but also offer traditional hotel meals, including our excellent seafood,” said Steve.

Different daily lunch and dinner specials are available for dine-in meals, seven days a week.

The hotel has traditional beef and chicken schnitzels, with a range of toppings and gravies available, along with tender steaks, cooked to your taste.

There is a range of fish and seafood dishes available, served with crispy hot chips and refreshing salads.

Friday and Saturday night menu includes a bain-marie of a large range of steaming hot vegetable dishes.

If you are a meat lover, you’ll love Wednesday nights, as it’s the traditional country mixed grill special night.

Your plate will be loaded with a range of good old Aussie meats, grilled to perfection.

The hotel dining room is available for private functions or parties, but bookings are required.

If you like a flutter, the hotel also has full TAB and lottery services, along with 28 gaming machines.

The hotel is open from 8am until late, seven days a week.
